Emeka Wogu, mobilized 1,200 registered and card-carrying APC members who participated in the exercise, which witnessed a large turnout of party supporters, security personnel, and members of the media.  Tinubu Wins APC Presidential Primary in Abia With Over 161,000 Votes President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election conducted in Abia State after polling 161,005 votes across the 17 local government areas of the state. Announcing the result, the State Collection Officer for the exercise, Benjamin Okezie Kalu, said the exercise was peacefully conducted across the state. According to the results declared, Tinubu recorded massive victories in all the local government areas, while fellow aspirant Stanley Osifo secured votes in a few councils. The breakdown showed that Tinubu polled 9,215 votes in Aba North, 6,486 in Aba South, 8,471 in Arochukwu, 39,826 in Bende, and 8,902 in Ikwuano, where Stanley Osifo scored 40 votes.
