IKONNE PRESENTS ABIA SOUTH SENATE NOMINATION FORM, PROMISES STRONG REPRESENTATION

The political atmosphere in Abia State is gradually building momentum as Crown Prince of Aba, Paul Ikonne, officially presented his senatorial nomination form to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Aba North.

The event, which attracted a large turnout of party faithful, supporters, and stakeholders, highlighted the growing interest in the Abia South senatorial race ahead of the upcoming elections. APC members gathered in their numbers to show solidarity and endorsement for Ikonne’s ambition, signaling early support within the party structure.



Addressing party members during the presentation, Ikonne expressed confidence in his chances, boldly projecting a 90 percent likelihood of victory at the polls. He assured supporters that his candidacy represents a new chapter of effective leadership, quality representation, and purposeful engagement for the people of Abia South.

“I am fully prepared to represent our people with dedication and integrity. Abia South deserves strong, visionary leadership, and I am ready to deliver,” he stated.

Ikonne further emphasized his commitment to addressing key issues affecting the district, including economic development, infrastructure, youth empowerment, and improved welfare for constituents.

Party leaders at the gathering commended his courage and readiness to serve, describing his ambition as timely and strategic for the growth of the APC in the region.

With the senatorial race gaining traction, political observers note that the coming months will be crucial as aspirants intensify consultations and grassroots mobilization across Abia South.

As it stands, Ikonne’s formal entry into the race has added fresh energy to the contest, positioning him as one of the notable contenders to watch in the build-up to the elections.
