Big Brother Naija housemate Mercedes was left eating humble pie after receiving a stern warning from Big Brother over the way she addressed him during a conversation in the house.

The drama unfolded after Mercedes became upset because her request for a pole was not granted. Frustrated by the response, she reportedly spoke to Big Brother in a disrespectful manner.

Big Brother immediately called her to order, saying:

"Where do you think you are? A request can be denied. Never you speak to Big Brother in that manner again."

Following the rebuke, Mercedes quickly changed her tone and responded more respectfully, bringing an end to the tense exchange.

The incident has since sparked reactions from viewers, with many praising Big Brother for maintaining discipline in the house, while others believe the warning was a reminder that housemates are expected to remain respectful even when their requests are denied.
